The advantage of shipping in our consolidated ocean container is that you can ship bulky items which may Not be cheap & easy to ship as Ocean Freight loose cargo to Kenya. Items like Furniture, Mattresses, Big Screen TVs, Refrigerators, Washer & Dryer etc. Ocean freight rates are based on the size of the cargo and the Rates are measured in cubic feet (cbft). A cubic foot to Mombasa costs $10.00 and $13.00 to Nairobi. Plus $30.00 for Bill of Lading. ****All Freight must be prepaid.**** |

Clearing Customs in Kenya: We have a Clearing Agent in Mombasa who will clear the Freight through Kenyan Customs when the container reaches Mombasa. The consignee will be responsible for the following Destination Charges: 1. Government Duties & Taxes if applicable. 2. Handling & Clearing Agent Fee. 3. Storage charges if they occurs. |
